Marble Chocolate Bread

After a few attempts on making a plain bread, I have the urge to do something more challenging after all, so far my bread has been quite well received from my family except my son... he seldom finish a thin slice of my bread....*sigh*...
So this time I chose Marble Bread - why ? because my two children are chocolate lovers. They love anything that is chocolates. But inorder to make it more attractive and interesting I chose marble effect.. though its still far cry of the original recipe - guess I did not roll tightly enough, but as its my first attempt I'm quite satisfied. This time my son did finish 1 thin slice but commented too bland...
My husband gave a thumb up for this bread and requested I bake it again.
Thanks dear for your encouragement.

Milk Loaf

Milk Loaf Recipe - the best ever even my the other half said its the ultimate bread he has eaten.I was really satisfied and I think I will stick to using this for time being.
It remains soft for two days. I tried 3 flavours, Original, Pandan and Chocolate, as my children likes Pork Floss I added it in the loaf.

I was so glad when it raised up to nearly 90% in the pullman tin during the the 2nd proofing.

Give it a try ! You will not want to eat store bought bread anymore !

Milo Doggies Cookies

So far, I didnt include my children to help with my bakings, as they might create extra work extra mess.... Inspired by one of the mummies, I decided to let them join in, so I chose this recipe that allow them to shape and play with it. After all, they are the ones who will be eating, so it doesnt matter if its ugly. Its one of the ways to do things together with them, sooner they might have their own world and it might not be possible when they grow up.
These were done by me.

These batch were done by them, the naughty looking ones with a witch nose were made by my gal... the one with a flying ear was done by my son.
They have great fun, and after doing my little girl ask me are we going to do this everyweek ?
Well, I'm planning to do this again but this time I'll try horlick version.

Japanese Cotton Cheesecake

I was very excited when it comes out from the oven, firstly this is my first time using the springform baking tin which I've bought donkey years, secondly it smells good when freshly out from the oven, I took picture of this cake with different positions until my helper said "aiyo the cake very tired already lah mum" but the taste was disappointing. Its all due to my stubborness for not heeding advise from my friend Esther, she said PH cheese cannot be used for this recipe. *Sigh* will try again.
